This endangered Hawaiian green sea turtle has finished laying her eggs on a black sand beach in Hawaii. It is quite an effort for her to climb up, dig a hole, and then drag back to the sea. Her relief was palpable when the waves broke over her face. None of the single images quite captured that, but this merged image - from four sequential exposures - come close.
